U.S. Marines and Sailors with 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines participate in the Littoral Rotational Forces - Luzon Summer Exercise Series '25 which includes Balikatan 25 and KAMANDAG 9 in the Philippines, April 21 - June 6, 2025. Balikatan is a longstanding annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military designed to strengthen our ironclad alliance, improve our capable combined force, and demonstrate our commitment to regional security and stability. KAMANDAG is an annual Philippine Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps-led exercise aimed at enhancing the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ defense and humanitarian capabilities by providing valuable training in combined operations with foreign militaries in the advancement of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
