Sergeant Major, 3d Littoral Logistics Battalion
Sergeant Major Isaias G. Davila-Fonseca

Sergeant  Major Davila is a native born in Puerto Rico, grew up in Tampa, Florida and graduated from East Lake High School in 2004. He attended college for two years before he enlisted in the Marine Corps in June 2006 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, North Carolina.
 
Upon graduating from recruit training, PFC Davila reported to the School of Infantry at Camp Geiger, North Carolina, for Marine Combat Training. After completing entry-level training, he reported to the School of Infantry–East, Headquarters & Service Company, Admin Service Center, where he served as the Diary Chief, Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge, and a member of the Color Guard. Upon his promotion to the rank of Sergeant in October 2008, he was transferred to the Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, where he served as the Administrative Chief and Color Sergeant for the Color Guard.
 
In October 2009, Sergeant Davila reported to 3d Battalion, 8th Marines, 2d Marine Division. In 2010, Sergeant Davila deployed with the Battalion Landing Team with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and pushed to Afghanistan. Then deployed again to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2012. During his time there, he served as the Administrative Chief, NCOIC, Battalion Color Sergeant. 

In September 2013, Sergeant Davila attended the Basic Recruiters Course. Upon completion of recruiter school, Sergeant Davila checked into Recruiting Station Orlando as a canvassing recruiter.  During his time there, he served as a canvassing recruiter.  When he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant, he was then transferred over to the Officer Recruiting and served as the Officer Selection Chief.
 
In December 2016, Staff Sergeant Davila reported to Combat Logistics Battalion 26 where he served as the Battalion Administrative Chief.  Shortly in September 2017, Gunnery Sergeant Davila was transferred to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 29 where he held the billet as the Administrative Chief in the biggest unit aboard the Marine Corps Air Station, New River.  He served as the Squadrons Fitness Instructor for RCP and BCP program.  While serving at this assignment he won the 2d MAW Admin SNCOIC for 2018. 
 
In May 2020, Gunnery Sergeant Davila reported to Marine Corps Combat Service Support School, Personnel Administration School (PAS) to serve as a Faculty Advisor for entry level Marines. While assigned at PAS he has served as a Faculty Advisor, Lead Instructor, and Marines Awaiting Training (MAT) SNCOIC and First Sergeant.
 
In February 2022, First Sergeant Davila reported to 2d Radio Battalion, where he held the senior First Sergeant  billet as the Headquarters and Service Company, Company First Sergeant.

In January 2024, First Sergeant Davila reported to Headquarters Battalion as the Headquarters Company Senior Enlisted Leader. He was then promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major in March 2025 and assumed the position of Command Senior Enlisted Leader for 3d Littoral Logistics Battalion, where he continues to serve today.
 
Sergeant  Major Davila's personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4rd award), Navy Achievement Medal (4th award), and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. 
 
Sergeant  Major Davila is married to Nicole Davila, they have a daughter, Alana and a Son, Joseph.
